JVH gaming & entertainment group (hereinafter: JVH) handles personal data in a responsible manner. The personal data we process are handled and secured with the greatest possible care. We comply with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and the regulations that arise therefrom. We, JVH, act as controller when processing personal data.

This means that we:
  • state for which purposes we process personal data (by means of this privacy statement);
  • limit the collection of personal data to only those personal data that are needed for the purposes for which they are processed;
  • personal data are not passed on to a third party, unless this is necessary to be able to deliver the requested service or if we are obliged to do so by law;
  • conclude agreements with third parties when sharing personal data in order to ensure that these are not used for other purposes among other things;
  • first request express consent for processing personal data in cases in which consent is required;
  • implement security measures that are suitable to protect personal data and also demand this of parties that process personal data on our instructions.
PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA IS NOT MANDATORY
The assumption is that the provision of personal data is not mandatory. You always have a choice whether you wish to enter your personal data. However, our processing of personal data is necessary in order to be able to use several of our services on or via the website. In the event the entry of data is requested, it is indicated:
  • what data are needed to be able to use the service and must therefore be entered on a mandatory basis;
  • which data may be provided optionally.
     
FOUNDATIONS FOR THE USE OF PERSONAL DATA
We process your personal data on the basis of several foundations.
 
Are you our (potential) guest? We process your personal data on the basis of the following foundations:

USE OF PERSONAL DATA
We may process your personal data when offering services and functionalities. The collection of these personal data occurs in different categories, namely;
 
Guests (or potential guests):
  • name;
  • contact details;
  • e-mail address
  • information concerning your interests as a user of one or more of our (mobile) websites (including apps), products or other services.
 
Employees (potential employees):
  • date of birth;
  • gender;
  • CV, cover letter, references;
  • photo and/or image material;
  • name and address details;
  • educational level;
  • telephone number;
  • bank details.
 
These data may be known to use for example because you have indicate that certain subjects interest you or that you would like to come work for us (or you are already working for us).
 
We collect and process personal data for the following purposes:
  1. for our administration and management of employee data;
  2. in order to offer, deliver and adjust the agreed services and/or information in line with your needs and wishes;
  3. for back-up or archiving purposes;
  4. improvement of our services and products;
  5. in order to send you a newsletter, offer, or other electronic message;
  6. for analysis, maintenance, optimisation and security of our website;
  7. in order to comply with the legislation and regulations that apply to us;
  8. in order to conduct a market survey and to draw up management information for the purpose of product and service development and to determine the business strategy.
 
Your data may be combined by us with data that were collected within the context of the use of various of our services. For example, we may combine the data you have entered with the data we obtained through the use of cookies on our website (see our Cookie Statement). We can create a profile on the basis of those data so that we are able to serve you better and align the content of these products and services (inter alia websites and apps) even better with your interests. SHARING AND DISCLOSING PERSONAL DATA
We may provide personal data to what are known as processors who provide services on our instructions. Unless indicated otherwise, your personal data are only used in this connection for the performance of the service instructed by us. We may share certain anonymous data with third parties, such as the number of users that used a certain search term or how many users clicked on a certain advertisement. You cannot be identified on the basis of these data. We may make personal data available to third parties without your consent in special cases. We would like to inform you by means of this privacy statement of the privacy policy and the security measures with respect to the personal data that are collected. Personal data includes matters such as name, date of birth or e-mail address. This privacy statement applies to the processing of all personal data for the abovementioned purposes.
 
We maintain at all times a level of security that complies with the statutory obligations. We ensure that the processing of personal data is sufficient in view of the state-of-the-art to prevent unauthorised access, adjustment, disclosure or loss of personal data. We will also comply with the obligation to notify in case of a breach of your personal data in accordance with the statutory obligation.
 
OBJECTION, INSPECTION, CORRECTION AND DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA
We are of the opinion that it is important to be transparent about the manner in which we handle your personal data. We want to make a contribution to this by means of this privacy statement. You have certain rights regarding the manner in which we handle or process your process data, namely:
  • that JVH allows you to inspect the personal data we process in respect of you;
  • that JVH deletes your personal data in certain circumstances;
  • that JVH supplements your personal data that are incomplete;
  • that JVH transfers your personal data to third parties.
 
We consider all requests and we will provide you with a response within a reasonable term. If we decide not to grant your request, we will inform you thereof. We may request further information in connection with a request, so that we are able to determine your identity.
